Fuel in YOS isn't a separate silo — it lives where fuel data actually happens. Fuel is a log type in the ship's Logbook: bunkering, transfers, and consumption logged alongside the deck and machinery records. Tank levels and per-engine fuel rate stream in live from telemetry. A dashboard widget keeps the fuel state visible at a glance. Bunkering records feed the MARPOL Oil Record Book.
The Problem
Fuel consumption is logged on paper. Bunkering quantities come from the supplier's delivery note. Tank levels are read by eye. MARPOL oil record book entries are transcribed manually.
