A four-phase APEM wizard — Appraisal, Planning, Master Approval, Execution — takes every plan from first look to completed voyage. Appraisal auto-populates from your vessel registry, active crew, latest weather observations, nav equipment, recent port calls, and active charter. Planning covers waypoints, under-keel clearance, tidal gates, hazards, contingencies with abort points and refuge ports, and pilotage. Waypoint editing is fast: drag to move with automatic renumbering and course, distance, and ETA recompute; insert between legs; 20 operations of undo. Master Approval takes dual signatures — officers and master. Execution logs position fixes against the plan. Exchange routes with your plotter: GPX for Raymarine and Garmin, RTZ (IEC 61174) for type-approved ECDIS. Plans tier BASIC or FULL per MGN 610. The chart library remembers — past plans suggest charts by port match, route overlap, and recency.
